Educational Programs


MAIC insureds are eligible to participate in IRMS' periodic risk management educational programs and in-services, and receive a 1% discount for every 1 hour of attendance, with a maximum discount of 4% per year.

IRMS staff conducts the risk management programs, often with invited experts to address various clinical care or risk management issues that can arise from high-risk areas.  Programs are presented at various locations and at different times throughout the year for the convenience of attendees and are provided at no charge.

MAIC also offers a wide variety of educational in-services for group or individual physician practices.  Each program is tailored to meet the specific needs of the insured and focuses on increasing awareness of risk management issues.  The in-services are provided on-site and are available on a scheduled basis.
